Murray’s Bio:

Lacrosse Coaching Experience:

Murray has coached girl’s lacrosse for over four years in the Boise, Idaho, and is a certified US Lacrosse Women’s Level II Coach. For 2007 and 2008, he coached the Eagle High School Junior Varsity team and was an assitant with Tracy Garrett to the EHS Varisty team. In 2007, Murray coached the Idaho girls U17 Team in Vail, Colorado. His 2007 Eagle JV team won state champions as a no cut team.

Sports Background:

Murray played lacrosse in Ontario and British Columbia during the 1970’s where Murray was a starting center. The division one and two BC club teams he played for (South Delta – Tsawwassen)ranked number one in the Province of British Columbia and 4th in the Canadian nationals in Calgary, Alberta in 1976. His achievements include year over year MVP winnings, and recognition for his center pulls (“face offs”) win rate of over 90%. Murray played the center position.

In addition, Murray played hockey for over 20 years as a goaltender, and still competes in the Men’s A and Advanced divisions in Boise, Idaho. In Canada, he played college hockey in Saskatchewan while attending Alliance University College. Murray’s sports background includes achievements in high wind windsurfing and an extensive skiing family history where Murray held a CSIA Level II instructors position in Banff, and Edmonton, Alberta for three years.

Murray is a graduate of the University of Alberta with a BA in Philosophy and Economics. Murray lives in Eagle and is married to Linda Owen, a Physical Therapist who keeps him going. They have two children, Garrett attending university, and Erica at EHS. Erica plays lacrosse for the EHS Varsity team. Murray works as Management Consultant in Sales and Marketing for technology firms.

Bailey’s Lacrosse Bio:

Bailey graduated from Borah High School in 2005 and played for three years on their varsity team, spending two years as captain. She also played on team Idaho and traveled to Vail in 2004 and 2005. Upon graduation, Bailey moved to Portland for a year where she attended Portland Community College and coached the JV team at Wilson High School, turning a team with zero wins into league champions.

After spending a year in Portland, Bailey moved to the great city of Eugene and attended the University of Oregon where she played lacrosse for three years on their club team. She received the all-star award her junior and senior year and led her team to their fifth consecutive league championship as captain her senior year. Bailey has a an undying love for lacrosse and hopes to share this through her coaching experience.
